political cartoon

1-There is no cartoon caption. The words being used in this cartoon represents all the different types of groups that want a slice of the pie.

2- The fat person that is outlined is represented to how much he can be divided into these groups.

3- The person is scared, but even though that being said, the cuts will still be made.

4- The message of the cartoon is to show how these groups want a dividend of the money.

5- It relates to current politics because it is about the time to file our taxes.

6- there are no satyric revelation in this cartoon

Politcal cartoon

1-In this cartoon caption, it depicts a Japanese family being attacked from all three directions at the same time by the tsunami, the earthquake, and the Nuclear plant explosions. Those words are used to show what had recently happened to japan.

2- There are three sumo wrestlers and a Japanese couple. I think the artist is trying to say that japan got hit hard and it was not fair to them because their was no time lapse between all three occurrences.

3-The action taking place in this cartoon is the three occurrences ganging up on small japan.

4- The message of the cartoon basically tells the reader of how sad it is to be under the state of which Japan is in right now. There is no ideological perspective represented by the cartoonist in my opinion.

5- This cartoon really affected the stock market plus the economy itself. Surely it will take a long time for Japan to recuperate their losses. We can relate this to our class discussions through playing in the stock market and viewing it's influence within the stock market game.

6- It's satyric because it is drawn to be viewed as the Japanese getting overwhelmed with these problems at once.

Egypt 2011

The title of this political cartoon is "Egypt 2011 Political Cartoon Mubarak" This is the title because it shows the president of Egypt.
President Mubarak and King Tut are represented in this picture. King Tut is holding a whip. King Tut and President Mabarak  both have superior stances. I think what the artist is trying to portray is that both had/have superior positions and nothing has changed since king tuts time.
King Tut and President Mabarak are both saying that they are above everyone else and everyone must obey them
The message of this cartoon is that both leaders were superior but they both had their downfalls.
This cartoon relates to the Egypt event going on now. It shows how President Mubarak wants all the power to control his people
